All TCI Scholars are attending Alpha Omega Secondary School in Kiburara, Western Uganda.
Senior 1 to Senior 4 is the equivalent of 4 years high school in the USA. To attend University, students need to complete Senior 5 and 6 which are University Preparation years.

Alleluya B
Alleluya is 17 years old and currently a Senior 3 student at Alpha Omega. She has four brothers and sisters and lives with her parents who struggle to provide for the family and afford tuition fees. She is so thankful for the hope that TCI brings! Alleluya enjoys studying history, agriculture, and geography, and her dream is to become a secondary teacher. She is very diligent in her studies, waking up early to read her school books.

Ambrose A
Ambrose is 18 years old and currently a Senior 4. He and his six siblings are raised by a single parent. He loves studying chemistry and biology and dreams of becoming a doctor!

Amos is 16 and currently a senior 5. His father died when he was 8 years old. He wants to become a doctor and treat people like his mother who has sickle cell disease. He enjoys Biology and Chemistry.

Asaph M
Asaph is 17 years old and is a senior 4. His mother has a diabetes disease and blind, which makes it difficult for her to earn any income and support he and his sibling. His favorite subjects are geography, history, and English, and he hopes to be a journalist one day.

Barnabus N
Barnabus is 19 years old and currently a senior 4. He is one of seven children, and his father abandoned the family while he was still attending primary school. It is impossible for his family to afford school fees for he and his siblings, so he is dependent on TCI to attend secondary school. He loves studying history and geography and dreams of becoming a lawyer.

Daphine K
Daphine K is an 18-year-old senior Five student from Ushongodoro who has faced extraordinary hardship with quiet strength. Having lost both parents, she lives with her aunt, a low-income earner, and the family has at times been homeless. Despite these challenges, Daphine wraps her books in polythene (plastic) bags to keep them dry and will not give up on her studies. She loves agriculture and biology and dreams of a career in veterinary medicine or tourism. Daphine exemplifies strength and resilience, and she hopes that education will open opportunities for her in the future.

Daphine T
Daphine T is 18 years old and currently a senior 4. She is one of four children and from a very poor family. Her parents try to grow what crops they can on a very small plot of land, but at times it is not enough to provide for the family, let alone pay for school fees. She says that TCI has brought so much hope to her future. She enjoys studying biology, history, and geography, and hopes to be a journalist one day. She expresses faith in God and knows that He will take care of her.

Davis A
Davis is a 21 year old senior 6 student and has seven brothers and sisters. His father was the late Pastor Lauben who died in August 2024 and was the director of the school in Jerusalem TCI has partnered with for many years. His mother had ovarian tumors which has been operated upon but now is unable to do much manual labor. He and his older siblings sometimes have to work to support the rest of the family. He never thought it would reach senior six and is so thankful for TCI. He dreams of being a veterinarian one day.

Dinavence N
Dinavence is 22 and currently a Senior 4. She is an orphan and lives with her uncle. Her family is poor and they migrated to Uganda from Rwanda to escape the rebels. She enjoys biology, chemistry and math. She obtained an excellent grade on her recent exams. She would like to be a cardiologist.

Edson T
Edson is 21 and currently a senior 5. He lost both of his parents and he is now staying with his aunt who cannot afford to pay for his schooling. He enjoys Physics and Mathematics classes. He wants to become a mechanical engineer.

Esther A
Esther is a 20-year-old Senior 6 student who lives with her parents and nine siblings. Her family works in neighbors' gardens to meet basic needs, but that isn't always enough. History is her favorite subject, and she hopes to become a history teacher someday. Despite her family's financial difficulties, she remains dedicated to her studies. As she says, "I like studying so much ……..I read my books so hard so that I can join campus next year."

Godwish T
Godwish is 19 and currently a senior 4. His parents are separated and he is staying with his grandmother who is very poor. He is in senior 2 and is the best in his class. His favorite subjects are Physics and Chemistry. He plans to be a petroleum engineer.

Innocent A
Innocent is a 17-year-old Senior Two student from Kyenkanga village, who dreams of becoming an accountant. He loves math and brings the same discipline to everything he does. He lives with his parents and six siblings. His father is a local pastor, and his mother farms to support the family, but school fees stretch beyond what the harvest can cover. Bright, faithful, and hardworking, Innocent simply needs a hand to stay in school and reach the future he is working toward.

Jabel A
Jabel is 19 years old and currently a Senior 5. He lives with his parents and three siblings who depend on small farming for their livelihood. He enjoys studying biology and hopes to pursue a career in environmental science. He is a very driven and determined individual and is so thankful for TCI!

Jonath is 15 and currently a senior 4. His parents are pastors in a local church. They struggle to provide for him. He is in senior 3 and he likes studying Biology and chemistry. He wants to become a doctor.

Linet A
Linnet is 15 and currently a senior 3. She is an orphan who lost her mother two years ago and was abandoned by her father. Her grandmother cannot afford to take care of her. Linnet wants to become a social worker.

Nusurah K
Nusurah is 17 years old and is the second born in a family of five children. Currently in Senior 3, she enjoys studying biology and chemistry, and she wants to be a nurse one day. Nusurah is so thankful for TCI, because her parents do not make enough money to pay for school fees for the entire family. She is very determined and loves going to school, waking up early to read her school books and focusing hard in class.

Posiano N
Posiano is 18 years old and a Senior 4. She is the second born of nine children! Living in a simple mud house, her parents have struggled a lot to support all their children, especially school fees. With feeling helpless over the future, she discovered hope in Jesus! She credits everything she has to Him. Posiano enjoys studying biology, math, and chemistry, and her dream is be a dentist.

Promise A
Promise is 21 and currently a senior 5. Her father was killed by strangers when he was working in the field. Promise’s mother who is lame and her left hand is crippled. She is in Senior 4 and she likes studying Agriculture and Physics . She wants to be a mechanical engineer or Vent- doctor.

Prossy A
Prossy is 18 years old and currently in Senior 3. She is one of five children and the first born in her family. Her parents struggle to provide for the family and pay for all of the school fees for her and her siblings. She is grateful for TCI to give her the opportunity to receive and education, and her dream is to be a lawyer. Her favorite subjects in school are history, literature, and Bible studies.

Samuel K
Samuel is 20 years old and currently in Senior 5. He is the third born of five children. Without TCI, Samuel says he would not be able to study as his parents cannot afford all of the school fees. He dreams to be a doctor and enjoys studying biology in school.

Stephen A
Stephen is 18 years old and currently in Senior 2. He is one of seven children - two girls and five boys. He is most interested in history, entrepreneurship, and Bible studies. He has big dreams, including being a foreign currency trader! He is a very motivated student and likes finance.

Tinah B
Tinah is a 16 year old orphan and currently in Senior 2. Her father died when she was 12 years old, so now she and her six siblings live alone with their mother. Without the support of TCI, education would not be possible as her single mother cannot find enough income to pay for school fees. Her favorite subjects in school are biology and agriculture.

Vastine K
Vastine is 16 years old and currently a Senior 3. She and her six siblings live alone with their mother. As with many other single parent families in rural Western Uganda, their mother supports the family by farming a small plot of land, but the income is barely enough to cover basic needs. Without TCI’s sponsorship, Vastine would not be able to continue her schooling. Vastine is passionate about science—she particularly enjoys biology and chemistry—and dreams of becoming a nurse.
